Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
· Research, design, and develop automotive systems, components, and parts in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
· Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs and technical specifications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing experts, to ensure design feasibility and integration.
· Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of automotive designs.
Testing and Evaluation:
· Plan and conduct performance tests and evaluations of automotive systems and components, analyzing and interpreting test data.
· Identify and troubleshoot design flaws or performance issues, proposing and implementing solutions for improvement.
· Conduct root cause analysis for technical failures or malfunctions, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements in the design and testing processes.
Technical Documentation:
· Prepare technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, to communicate design concepts and requirements.
· Create and maintain engineering documentation, such as bills of materials (BOMs), design change requests (DCRs), and engineering change orders (ECOs).
· Collaborate with technical writers and documentation teams to develop user manuals, service manuals, and other technical publications.
Research and Innovation:
· Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
· Conduct research and analysis on new materials, manufacturing processes, and innovative technologies for automotive applications.
· Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in automotive design, performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
Project Management:
· Plan and coordinate engineering projects, setting objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
· Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
· Collaborate with project stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and customers, to align project objectives and deliverables.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design and development process.
· Present technical concepts, project updates, and findings to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with team members.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
· Proven experience in automotive engineering, including design, development, and testing of automotive systems and components.
· Strong knowledge of automotive engineering principles, vehicle dynamics, and vehicle systems.
· Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
· Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements (e.g., ISO, SAE, DOT).
· Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
